The training session aims to equip ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively activate radio rooms at shelters during emergencies. Participants will learn the key steps involved in setting up and operating emergency communication centers to support disaster response efforts.  We’ll also cover other ways that our volunteers can assist by providing health & welfare messaging following a disaster when traditional communication methods are lost or limited.
