We’ve been asked to provide support for the Scratch Ankle Bike Race on March 8 in the northern part of Santa Rosa County (Munson Area.). We would like to have both an ARES volunteer with a mobile radio as well as a CERT volunteer for first aid.  Even if you don’t have a ham radio, we have “go kits” that we can loan out for the event as long as you have your amateur radio license.  We do not have the exact locations of the aid stations as of yet, but the race begins at Bear Lake Campground.  There will be 4 aid stations and the net control for race coordination at Bear Lake.  The length of time you will be needed will depend on the aid station you are posted at but, worst case, would be around 4:00/4:30 PM.
