This class is for those who have just received their amateur radio license and are looking to understand what the next steps are for themselves and how to start exploring this hobby we call ham radio. Topics included will be basics of handheld radio operation, how to check in to a radio net, and recommended next steps. A light breakfast will be provided. The training will be held in the training portable located behind the Santa Rosa County Emergency Operations Center.
