When Disaster Strikes: Prepare, Act, Survive

The one-and-a-half-day course, equaling 12 hours of instruction with hands-on application, focuses on:
- Developing the mindset to prepare, act and survive in a community disaster.
- Using survival strategies to rescue and care for yourself, your family and your pets during the immediate aftermath of a disaster.
- Assisting in the search, light rescue, care and safety of your neighbors.
The course is FREE and open to the public, 14 years of age and older. Minors, wishing to participate, will need to complete a medical treatment release form during registration and have a responsible adult stay during the entire class.
