We’ve been requested to assist with a SRC Deputy’s funeral for parking on Saturday 10/26.  Volunteers will need to be on-scene by 0800.  A few volunteers will also be needed at the cemetery down the street.  The funeral will be at Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church (201 W. Leonard Street) with burial to follow at Holy Cross.

Ira Rhodes will lead the CERT response effort.

Due to liability concerns, minors (children under 18) are not permitted to volunteer or accompany our CERT volunteers during events. With any event we work, please make sure to bring necessary personal items such as hydration, snacks, sunscreen, chairs or any other items you may need for the incident (traffic vests, etc.) While we strive to have supplies at each event, please be prepared in case something comes up that prevents your access to these supplies at the event.
