We have been requested to assist with Sgt. Berrian’s funeral services on Saturday 5/24.  We will need to be onsite at the church at 0845 (Olive Baptist Church.)  Once the service has started, some of us will need to relocate to Pensacola Memorial Gardens to assist with parking for the graveside service.  I would expect that we will probably be on-duty until 1200.

If you have a CERT polo shirt, please wear that along with slacks.  If not, a plain pollo shirt and slacks should be worn.  CERT vests will be needed.  I will have traffic wands.

More details will be provided as I have them.  We will likely need at least 12 people to pull this off properly.

Due to liability concerns, minors (children under 18) are not permitted to volunteer or accompany our CERT volunteers during events. With any event we work, please make sure to bring necessary personal items such as hydration, snacks, sunscreen, chairs or any other items you may need for the incident (traffic vests, etc.) While we strive to have supplies at each event, please be prepared in case something comes up that prevents your access to these supplies at the event.
