SUMMARY:2026 Milton Food Distribution
DESCRIPTION:CERT is requested by Wonders of the Word Christian Ministries in partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast for traffic control at a food distribution center\, or in CERT terms a POD. At this event we will be in charge of all traffic control starting with staging (vehicles) and throughout the food distribution process. All volunteers will need to wear your CERT vest and comfortable shoes.

SUMMARY:Candlelight Vigil
DESCRIPTION:We have been asked to help with traffic control for a candlelight service for a local teenage girl. The vigil will take place at Avalon Baptist Church on Monday the 8th at  7pm. CERT is meeting at 5:30 pm in the church parking lot for set up. You will need your vest and traffic wand. \nDue to liability concerns\, minors (children under 18) are not permitted to volunteer or accompany our CERT volunteers during events. With any event we work\, please make sure to bring necessary personal items such as hydration\, snacks\, sunscreen\, chairs or any other items you may need for the incident (traffic vests\, etc.) While we strive to have supplies at each event\, please be prepared in case something comes up that prevents your access to these supplies at the event.
